Illinois Senator Barack Obama would do well to throw his full support behind the person the Democrats nominate for presidential candidate in 2008 and campaign aggressively for that person. If he does, he will stand a very good chance of being president in 2012. If he tries to push for his nomination in 2008, it will backfire on him.
