Professional psychics usually ‘see’ images first – sometimes before a person asks a question. They also ‘feel’ emotionally where the client is and sometimes ‘hear’ words. They will usually tell callers what they are hearing and seeing as part of the reading. The longer the reading the more detailed information comes through because they are receiving more images.

Sometimes an advisor may ‘see’ things that do not make sense right at the moment. However, as they continue on with the reading it will make more sense. Images seem to appear first and then your advisor can interpret them as they come to in during the reading.

Most callers are polite and considerate when calling, however, some are very pushy. They want information right now and want yes and no answers. Unfortunately, that is not how it works. Pushing a psychic or tarot reader stresses them out and you will not get the most out of your psychic readings when being demanding or rude. This type of caller blocks the very information they want and need to know.

Below are some things to consider to get the best possible accurate psychic readings from your advisor.

7 Tips to Get Your First Accurate Psychic Readings

1. Get into a calm, relaxed state of mind

2. Pick a very quiet place to make your call from

3. Write down subjects you would like your advisor to read on

4. Explain the situation first before asking questions

5. Do not interrupt your advisor until they have finished giving information on your subject

6. Be careful not to judge the reading; let some time pass before making a judgment

7. Leave positive written feedback

It is very important to get centered and calmed down before making a call if you have been stressed out lately. Some people call and are so upset that it makes it very difficult to read through all of the emotions. This tends to block the information that comes in because emotions are very highly charged and it can be very difficult to read through this.

Be sure you arrange to get into a quiet room or place where you will not be disturbed for any reason. This will help you to feel calm and the privacy is very important. That way you can concentrate on what your psychic reader is saying to you.

Have a blank pad and paper right in front of you before you begin. Writing down your main concerns when you are in a calm, relaxed state will make sure you focus on exactly what it is you really want to know.

When you first begin your conversation, it is best to let the psychic or tarot reader get some idea of your emotional environment and they will start to pick up things as you are talking. You can make it brief. Jumping into yes or no type questions, or asking, ‘Do you see this’ or ‘Do you see that’ is leading the psychic in the direction you want the reading to take. Let your advisor give you what they see without your prompting.

Psychic professionals often see things well into the future that you need to make note of. It is common for first-time callers to assume that if a reader sees something in the future and they don’t think it will happen, please do not argue. The future has not yet come. Remember that if you don’t know what is in your future, arguing with an advisor who is a professional will get you nowhere.

Psychic advisors love to hear your feedback, especially if their predictions happen. They have no other way of knowing unless you leave feedback. Most sites have a client feedback system in place for you to contact your advisor. This lets them know that they did their job well.

It will be very important if you have never called a site before to take into consideration all of the tips above. This will get you the best out of your advisor and your future psychic readings will go much better if you’ll just take the time to prepare for them.

Ace of Swords Upright

New Ideas, New Direction

The Swords represent the element of air. This card tells us that you will leave difficult times behind because you are more focused and your mind is sharper than it has been in the recent past. If you have been thinking of starting that new job or project, now is the time to get your plan in order. New ideas will prosper if you make a plan and execute it without delay. If you have felt down and out of control of your life, or a victim of circumstances, things are about to change. If you have had difficult times, like the Phoenix, you will rise and begin to feel that you are once again in charge.

Ace of Swords Reversed

Arguments, Confrontation

Like all of the Aces in the Tarot Deck, this signals a beginning. The Ace of Swords in a reversed position warns us that negative forces are in the air. It signifies the painful actions toward others resulting in the circumstances possibly getting worse.

All is not necessarily lost!  This is a time to take a breather, stand back and do not react. You do not want to attract negative reactions right now. The best action right now is to avoid confrontations and arguments. Do not force the situation at this time because it could easily backfire. You can avoid this reversed Sword’s negative consequences by using the element of air – take the common sense approach and do not let your emotions get out of hand.

With the King of Wands represented by the element of fire, and Aries as the sun sign, expect growth and new beginnings when this card shows up. This King stands for authority, with a positive outlook on life and a belief in self. He often stands up for those less fortunate and will help you as much as possible.

This is a very passionate person who supports your beliefs and encourages you to go after your own dreams and not those of others. He is an excellent leader and can represent a father figure and/or alpha-male when he turns up in your readings.

It really is not hard to learn to read the Tarot. You just must realize this is not an overnight process. A little study everyday will help tremendously. It’s kind of like learning how to tie your shoes or learning how to drive.

The more you practice, the better you will get at it. I suggest getting a standard deck like the Rider-Waite Tarot deck to begin with. As you get more proficient, then you can wander out into the hundreds of Tarot decks and find one you like. Until then, it is best to make it simple and start with an easy to read deck.

There is more than one book out on the subject. The ‘Idiot’s Guide To Tarot’ is one of the better ones. You can find it used at Amazon for about $5.00.  I do recommend buying a new Tarot deck.  You don’t want one that is old and hard to shuffle.  You also want a new deck because a used one has other people’s energy in them and will not work for you like a new one will.

I suggest taking 20 minutes per day starting with a basic layout like the Celtic Cross – the most common and widely practiced spread.  To memorize the meaning of each position in the spread, you might start with a piece of paper in each position and the meaning written down on the paper.  With practice, you will soon haven the 10 positions memorized.

Use your guide book like the one I recommended above each day.  We can only absorb so much information at once, so I suggest 20-30 minutes each day until the spread and cards start to ‘gel’ in your memory.  This is a step-by-step process and a little bit of practice each day will take you a long way into learning how to read the cards!  You will also begin to notice that your psychic reading ability will approve over time.

The Empress represents the feminine side of ourselves.

It is a symbol of spring energy, fertility, motherhood, creation and the nurturing within. Standard Tarot decks show the planet Venus which represents Taurus and Libra, both feminine sun signs.

When this card shows up in a reading, you can expect happy times ahead. It also tells us that joyful times are coming in the home, marriage and family relationships. It can mean a marriage or new home is on the horizon which will bring happiness. Bountiful crops and gardens will be fruitful. More abundance is on the way!

Ready to Fight, Manipulation

As the sky turns black, this card put you on notice that a real storm is brewing.  Relationships can be stressful now because someone wants a fight; tension is brewing. You or someone around you is not concerned for the welfare of others. This card can indicate a selfish person and the possibility of ending a relationship. A misuse of power is at hand, and legal issues may come up.  Someone may be stealing or about to steal something from you.  It can also mean stealing, deceit, manipulation and a generally sly person or behavior.

The other cards surrounding the 5 of Swords will give you more clarity.  It does usually mean there are at least two people involved.  This is not an ordinary rain storm and it will be important for you to see things as they really are and not ignore what may be coming.  Watch your back because this person does not have your best intentions at heart.

This person seems as though they are angry and loaded for bear.  There is gossip behind the scenes and you may be the target.  Cream rises to the top, so, once you get the truth out, stick to your guns.  Emotional problems can also be associated with this card.  Watch for the signs of under currents in your relationship with this person.  They seem to like stirring the pot.  Consider them a snake looking for a place to bite.  If you do not yet distrust this person, you soon will as the truth will come out eventually.

4 of Swords Upright

Quiet Time, At Rest

When the 4 of Swords shows up, it is time for a break and much needed rest. This is a time to relax and contemplate your future. What will happen next? How should I proceed? This is a time to really give your situation some thought before moving forward. This tarot card can also represent a vacation and time of relaxation. Depending on the other cards surrounding it, this can mean recuperation after surgery where resting is the order of the day. Renew your energy both physical and mental for it is a time for peace and quiet before taking on the world again.

This is a peaceful period to reflect on the past and put it in perspective. This will give you the space and time to think about how you may want to deal with the coming times ahead. If there has been lots of negativity in your life, this period will give you the time you need to just ‘be’ and not to worry. Plan your next moves before venturing out again!

4 of Swords Reversed

Renewed Energy, Back into Action

It is time to get back into action and put some momentum behind your thoughts and ideas. This card tells us that our period of rest is over. You are now ready to take on what you have previously put aside. This is a card of renewed energy to make changes you have been putting off after a period of rest. Be ready to face things head-on and make order out of chaos. While this card does suggest upheaval in both up-right and reversed positions, you now have what it takes to make the necessary adjustments in your work or personal life. You are now physically and mentally up for the challenges ahead.
