The solar eclipse and new moon which occur on May 20/21, add yet another layer to the celestial “cake”. This eclipse occurs on the cusp between Taurus and Gemini. Classical astrologers have noted that a solar eclipse in the former denotes a scarcity of “products of the earth” and can be hurtful to mankind. Clearly, the energies here point to shortages of necessities which could be the result of commodities markets being impacted by both natural and man-made events.
The new moon has long been recognized as a time of beginning as well as the conscious and sub-conscious balancing of wants and needs. Given the scenario I have described up to this point, this could be the actual start of the transformation pushed by the Pluto, Dark Lord in his dance with the Goddess of Love. There could be more fireworks this Memorial Day week-end then anyone could imagine, particularly with a financial squeeze right at the start of the summer season.
As mentioned in a number of articles that I have written this year, June 4-6 will be what I believe is a period of the perfect astrological storm. In the space of 48 hours, Neptune, the Sea King, goes retrograde. There is a total Lunar Eclipse with the moon in Sagittarius, Venus transits across the Sun (still in retrograde) and squaring Mars, God of War, in the process. Though associated with love and romance, Venus also rules greed and this aspect will rear its head during that week.
It is not inconceivable that a natural event such as an earthquake, volcano, or hurricane, could deliver an unexpected and devastating blow to the western hemisphere. This event, in turn, could push the already shaky financial house of cards completely over. Additionally, man-made lunacy (appropriate for a total lunar eclipse) could become revealed and reviled leading to an even further lack of trust across the board. A sense of denial, escapism, and being caught up in spin or illusions could result in a financial meltdown from an unexpected direction.
Deeper spiritual wounds added to the mix when Chiron goes retrograde June 11. While the world tries to make sense of the previous week’s chaos, fractures of the more personal kind will also be felt as those social lifeboats that were taken for granted suddenly come up too short, not unlike a certain fated vessel whose centennial sinking was celebrated in April.
Between the potential of meteorological, geological, and geo-political upheavals during this short time period, one can expect the financial world to whipsaw wildly and resources becoming depleted (or withheld). An air of desperation competes with futility which could lead to social unrest of a more primal, physical and violent nature both here and abroad.

The Day of Rage had protesters gathered on Sept 17, 2011 on Wall Street in a nonviolent demonstration. Wade Rathke, , the former the head organizer of ACORN, is an Arab Spring Movement sympathizer of the social unrest that took place in Cairo, Egypt spreading through the middle east.
On March 11th, the demonstration was announced and the original plan involved the SEIU, and the entire left wing including the Marxists and Anarchists. Their plan was a gathering of 100,000. Their webpage, #OccupyWallStreet, Facebook and Twitter were used to accomplish the ‘gathering’. The plan, however, was foiled when barely 1000 people showed up.
Sadly, social unrest has come and this is going to get tons of people involved. #OccupyWallStreet organizers want 20,000 people as they prepare to put up tents and demonstrate around the Chase Manhattan Plaza in New York City. Their plan is to stay in tents for a few months.
So, here is the beginning of our own social unrest and it does not surprise me that it is starting in NYC. As Lou Raedwulfe said in a previous article, “The reality that we will see will be marked with a lot of negative energy in the near term.”
Lou continues in another articles, Astrology as Predicted is Happening, and states that, “The financial world is still shaky and even if a debt ceiling agreement is reached, the ramifications of the debate will echo loudly both here and abroad.”
Nostradamus has predicted unrest in London which is already happening and is on the rise. Lou continues the same theme of social unrest in his article, Summer 2011 Predictions, and he is right on target by saying, “What is on the political horizon? The unrest and uncertainty of the last few months is going to dramatically escalate.”
In 2009, Randy stated, “I predicted that we were heading for some very ugly times.” Not only is he correct, but, as we have all been reading in the news, socially, politically, earthquakes and storms are all escalating. He continues, “I predicted this back in 2009 and as stated before, I sense this is just a dry run for more serious things in the future.” Randy’s Predictions for 2011.
Lou had more to say about the government officials in his Summer 2011 Astrology Predictions: “For much of the year, politics will flood the media and TV. Two people may be the focal point. There will be major public figures in the lime light. If they thought their secrets were safe, they are mistaken.” Perhaps he forecast the Solyndra issues with the administration which is now under investigation.
Maybe Kay Rivers says it best in her article titled, Social Unrest Around the World and On The Rise. In the article she says, “The USA will face similar problems as Cairo, Egypt and other countries in the Middle East; we are the next ones to face social unrest, the bulk of which will start to unravel in 2012.”
I could not agree more. Our own social unrest has just begun in New York City, Sept 17, 2011. Mark my words that this is just the beginning and this contagion will be felt in many major cities in the USA. Peaceful demonstrations will lead to more social unrest.
We will very soon be facing very similar circumstances as many other countries around the world are going through right now. I don’t see an end to any of this for a very long time and I don’t see ‘peaceful’ demonstrations as the only method of social unrest. Things are going to get a lot uglier before long. 2012 should get very interesting indeed.

This is just the start of this year’s social unrest around the country as movies like Batman and Gangster Squad continue to play during the Summer and Fall. I also feel that Gangster Squad will also fuel the already smoldering fire. This will lead to more social unrest, chaos, demonstrations and violence. It will feed on itself as it gathers steam.
We can expect to hear of all sorts of violence on crowds, as well as, crowd violence itself. Law enforcement will find it very difficult over these next few months as the momentum builds. Movies like this will be the catalyst for a new round of crowds gathering in small towns and large cities alike.
I feel that in August and especially September, we will hear about crowds gathering for purposes not unlike last year with the ‘Occupy Movement’. Some of these same people plus a whole lot more will be in the streets as I have previously written in other articles. They will not have a clear idea of why they are taking to the streets in protests all over the country. One thing they do know, is that work is hard to find and there is nothing they seem to be able to do about it. Jobs are scarce and people are scared.
At any point in history, when too many people are out of work anywhere in the world, crowds gather in demonstrations often turning to violence. You can loose a job, but, when you are hungry and so are your friends, family and neighbors, things can heat up and quickly.
Change is definitely in the air, but, when people don’t know which way it is going to go – for better or worse – they get very afraid at the core level which is survival. People do not operate very well when in survival mode for very long. And, when there are enough people who are in the same predicament, heading for the streets is the only way they feel they can get attention.
Adding to this, will be more ‘Flash Mobs’ around the country. Not all Flash mobs are up to no good, however, this may change as the year moves on into Fall. Again, they will not have a definite objective other than to disrupt business as usual. Social unrest will clearly be on the rise.
We are going to hear a lot more about crowds, demonstrations and social unrest in general as this year continues in these uncertain times. None of this news will be good and expect looting, fights, guns and law enforcement in the media. This is just the beginning of a very ugly cycle with more and more people out of work, feeling frustrated and angry. This coupled with the weather extremes for the remainder of the year will be adding more fuel to the fire. Expect social unrest, violence and crowd related ugly events not only in the US but in other countries as well. It will spread like wild fire at the collective unconscious level.
Psychics often talk about the times ahead of us. I haven’t talked to one yet who felt good about where we are and where we may be heading. All one can hope to do is prepare the best you can in these uncertain times. Please remember, that while hope is a good thing, it is not a good strategy in an age of uncertainty.
