He’s called the ‘Mini-Monet’. Kieron Williamson is just eight years old and already he is selling paintings for some serious money. His water colors of landscapes were a huge hit at a recent gallery showing. All 33 of his paintings sold in under a half an hour, pulling in around $235,800 dollars! One has to ask is Kieron’s talent just a ‘good eye’, or does it go much deeper? Is his success at such an early age attributed to an ‘inner vision’, one of intuition or perhaps is he even clairvoyant?

How does one know what to paint? What style would be appealing? Especially at the tender age of eight? Perhaps the title of ‘Mini-Monet’ should be replaced with the ‘Mozart of Water Color’? One thing is for certain, right now, Kieron Williamson is red hot!

So says Adrian Hill, co-owner of the Picturecraft Gallery in Kieron’s home town of Holt in England. He told the Daily Mail “I believe the last child artist in this bracket was Picasso.” Hill goes on to say that “He has a very mature hand and has mastered certain techniques at an early age which some artists would take years to perfect.”

That Mr. Hill would recognize this tells me that there is more to Kieron Williamson than meets the eye. Kieron’s mother, Michelle Williamson, described her son has a normal boy. He played soccer, liked fishing and swimming and playing computer games. But all that changed in 2008 when the family went on a holiday in Devon and Cornwall.

Now, you may ask, how does going to Devon and Cornwall turn a normal, average boy into an artistic genius? According to his mother, before this vacation, she and Kieron’s father would have to draw pictures, like dinosaurs, for Kieron to color in. He lad exhibited little artistic talent.

On holiday, Kieron was so inspired by the scenery of Devon and Cornwall that he began to draw what he saw. His mother Michelle said it was like throwing a switch. The level of focus and concentration was remarkable as Kieron captured the landscape in all it’s beauty.

So what was it about Devon and Cornwall that ignited such talent in Kieron Williamson? Well, for starters, let us first consider the location. What is so special about this region of Southwestern England?

These two English counties played an enormous role in perhaps the greatest magical era in British lore. The Age of Arthur! Yes! It was in this very region that Camelot was said to be! But the area is also home to Stonehenge. Perhaps one of the greatest monuments to early mankind.

There are many such Paleolithic sites in the region. Many ancient Celtic traditions and histories were founded there. But even in more recent, modern times, another phenomena has also had a strong influence on the region. Yes, you guessed it! Crop circles!

Some of the most bizarre and incredible crop circle formations exist in the counties of Devon and Cornwall. While some of the simpler ones are attributed as hoaxes, made by pranksters with wooden boards and wheelbarrows, the more elaborate, sophisticated and puzzling crop circles have yet to be explained.

Theories abound ranging from UFOs to cosmic energy vortexes as creating crop circles. Could it be that one of these vortexes touched and inspired Kieron Williamson? Was it this that inspired him to draw Nature in all it’s beauty? Was his inner vision switched on and an intuitive gift imparted upon him? Possibly he is another one of the genius psychic kids !

These are worthy questions to ask. How can one explain the sudden talent of an eight year old boy earning hundreds of thousands of dollars painting landscapes? As the same Intelligence that creates crop circles, and traces it’s origins back past Arthurian times to the ancient Celts at work here?

I believe that Kierson Williamson is a gifted artist. His work is beautiful. That he is only eight years old is extraordinary. His sudden discovery of his talent is extraordinary, too. I would even say, paranormal. Perhaps the same Intelligence is channeling itself through this young boy reminding us all that the world is beautiful and needs to stay that way!
