When we live in a ‘free country’ we are allowed to assemble in large groups for peaceful purposes. Obviously, there are those people who know that and take advantage. This is what happened today during the Boston Marathon as the the crowds were gathered.
The game is on for those who know we can assemble, have fun, celebrate for whatever purpose we choose, as long as it is for peaceful reasons. They take advantage of our freedom in the right to assemble.
Today was a different day as the crowds gathered for the annual Boston Marathon where hundreds of people gathered at the finish line right in the bull’s eye of two bombs purposely set to destroy innocent people unaware of what was to come.
This will go down in history as yet another layer of fear piled on in remembrance of 9-11 and will not be forgotten easily, especially in the wake of other disasters that have recently hit the US like Sandy Hook, Columbine, Katrina and the Federal Building in Oklahoma City.
I feel that more and more of these types of events will be happening around the US making everyone fear going out to sporting events, July 4, Independence Day Fireworks, New Years Eve, The Thanksgiving Day Parade and Memorial Day.
I feel strongly that many will begin to stay home rather than go out to celebrate our heritage and the right to assemble. This is going to become more the norm for the average person in America as we continue through this year. 9-11 will become alive again in our memory of what it is like to live in fear.
I feel that we are going to be victims of many more of these types of attacks not only soon, but, for many years to come. We will be living in fear in the average household just like that do with our brothers and sisters in Israel. There will be more bombings in cities where people gather for fun and celebration in large crowds causing more social unrest here and abroad.
We now know what it fells like to live in fear and have to watch over our shoulders when we take in the theater or go ‘down town’ for dinner. We didn’t used to have to think about things like this, but, sadly, we do now. And even worse, will be the copy cats who will follow suit and do more damage.
Expect major earthquakes on the California coast, Costa Rica, Panama, Chili region and Japan in the next few weeks. April and May are going to be the months of more large seismic activity of 6.0 and above…major coastal cities will be involved….Japan will be a major concern….in the news.
As a long time practicing astrologer and psychic I am routinely asked, by believers and skeptics, the same question: How accurate are these predictive arts using astrology? While I never claim that any method of metaphysical forecasting is flawless, I do point out that history has countless examples of practitioners of the mystic sciences being able ’see’ events in the future and to forecast trends of destiny.
Several times during the year, I will look back on prognostications that I have made and measure them against current events to examine my own accuracy. This is my way of reminding myself that, regardless of skills and gifts that I and other psychics and practitioners may possess, the Universe always has the first move. Even so, measuring what I have seen against what has occurred makes for an interesting tally on my astrological scorecard.
In December 2011, I released my 2012 Predictions on both Kindle and Nook websites and on January 22nd, revised and updated this collection and entitled it 2012 Stars and Stones. Both editions contained this observation:
“ (Pluto) The Dark Lord reverses course on April 10th still in the sign of the Sea Goat. The intensity of this position, coupled with the force of the retrograde is going to make the spring very interesting, to say the least. Pluto Retrograde highlights weakness while Capricorn deals with power and hierarchies. Expect more revelations about how “hollow” the current system is that could cause a major crisis involving a government official sometime between April 10th and the 19th.”
On Saturday, April 14, 2012, the scandal involving the Secret Service hiring prostitutes in Columbia ahead of a major conference to by attended by the President. The story has grown and now DEA agents are also being investigated on similar charges as well as member of the military who were part of the advance contingent.
Also in 2012 Stars and Stones was the following excerpt from the rune casting portion of the book:
“1st Six Months Bridge – Sowelo – This is the rune of wholeness and clarity and is both appropriate and timely as it also denotes the end of winter and the start of the warmth of the year. During these first six months, we may get a chance to see “the funny old man behind the curtain” (figuratively and, possibly, literally) as some scandals/revelations are going to illuminate exactly how the financial crisis occurred on a global scale and who or what stands to profit by keeping things unsettled. Failures in governments will also come to light-perhaps with some shocking results.”
The ongoing failure of Greece to even form a government certainly is the most glaring aspect of this prediction but, by no means, the only one:
February 17, 2012 – German President Christian Wulff resigns as the result of a financial scandal where he was accepting ‘favors’ to influence policy.
February 21, 2012 – A top executive at Olympus commits suicide in the midst of a major accounting scandal and investigation at the company.
March 14, 2012 – An op-ed article by Greg Smith, a former executive at Goldman Sachs, explains in detail how clients’ interests are routinely ignored in the name of making a profit for the firm.
While the revelation on May 11, 2012, that J.P. Morgan Chase suffered a minimum of a $2 Billion dollar loss through risky investment activities, not unlike those which crashed the world economy in 2008 is most certainly a part of this list. It is also important that this singular event (whose total impact may not yet be felt) was also referenced in a subsequent article The Financial Future that I wrote on April 30th. Referencing the impact of the Pluto retrograde in Capricorn that began on April 10th:
“In the sign of Capricorn, the structural aspects of our world such as our financial and banking systems will receive the full brunt of the Dark Lord’s focus. Things hidden will be brought to light; given that Pluto governs big business, crime and the underworld and also the Great Depression… As Pluto’s 160 day rearward dance progresses, and some of these hidden truths become revealed, karmic balance is going to make hit those who have taken advantage of the system the hardest; regrettably since they are also in control, the trickle-down to the rest of us will also be significant.”
The political arena also appears to have made it to my astrological radar. On January 16th in my article entitled: Mercury Retrograde Affects 2012 Elections this observation was made:
“Clearly, what comes out of Super Tuesday may have a far different slant than anyone may have believed going in. With the Messenger staying reversed until April 4th, the communications chaos will not lessen even as the ‘winners’ (who ultimately may not be) and the ‘losers’ (who may not be done) try to spin their way out of Mercury’s Web.”
The war of words between Romney, Gingrich, Santorum and the rest certainly continued unabated for a significant period of time beyond Super Tuesday with echoes still reverberating through present day. For one candidate, however, my words of Feb 22nd in the article Knock Knock certainly projected his future course:
“The retrograde energies of Mercury, Mars and Saturn will be magnified and reinforced by each other from March 12th through April 4th On the political front, I believe that at least one prominent figure is going to learn his (or her) limitations in a rather dramatic fashion that will cause them to recalculate the future that they had planned for themselves.”
Gingrich ended his campaign for the nomination roughly two weeks later.
This also extends to politics beyond our borders as mentioned in my article Dark Side of the Moon written on May 2nd:
“Since the holiday is a celebration of the defeat of the French on May 5th, 1862 by Mexican forces, it would not be surprising if France and or Mexico again were illuminated by this ‘Super Moon’ as part of the sesquicentennial anniversary. Given that the second round run-off of the Presidential Election is also scheduled for May 5th and 6th, there could be a literal turning of the tides that could shape not only the political but financial landscape of the Eurozone as well.”
As is well known, Francois Hollande, a socialist, won the French presidency and, in doing so, has completed shaken the political landscape of Europe leaving many to wonder whether the Euro Union will survive much longer.
The astrological impact on Earth itself was something that I felt strongly about and expressed in the previously mentioned February 22nd Knock Knock article:
“Geologically speaking, the Earth, too, may let loose a “secret” in the form of a volcano or major earthquake especially during he early part of this retro-from April through the end of June.”
And on May 2nd in Dark Side of the Moon:
“The Moon’s impact on weather and the oceans should not be discounted either. With Neptune – the Sea King – also going retrograde during this eclipse, seismic, meteorological or volcanic activity may come within that week”
The earthquakes in Italy on May 20th, the day of the eclipse, has shocked seismologists around the world by how shallow it was and that it occurred in a low risk area. Damage to some of the ancient treasures of Italy is still being assessed but officials in the region feel that it could be “significant”. And just today, May 22nd, Bulgaria has been impacted by a 5.2 tremor with damages yet to be assessed.
Yet these two events were not the only ones which have occurred between April and June. Here is a short list of some of the other events:
April 11-An 8.6 earthquake with an 8.2 after shock near Sumatra
May 14- a 6.2 earthquake near the Bolivian Peru border
May 19-6.1 earthquake off of northern Chile
Totally dwarfed in the news cycle by the Italian quakes, the 6.4 occurrence off of Honshu, Japan seems almost like an afterthought.
So, do astrologers and psychics truly have a window on the future? The answer to this question will continue to be debated with no resolution. Believers believe and doubters doubt. At the end of the day, all I can do is look at my “scorecard” and continue to provide counsel and guidance where I can.

On April 15th 1912, the world will mark the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. Coincidentally (or not), Neptune-The Sea King- also returns “home” in 2012. On February 3rd, Neptune enters Pisces-the sign that it rules-and all of its dynamic traits will be emphasized. Astrologers and psychics like those found on Psychic Cosmos.com are paying close attention to the Sea King’s passage along with the centennial date which added the irony of the word “unsinkable” to the language lexicon of the globe.
The Sea King’s domain is the ocean, all water-related activities and all bodies of water. It also reigns over illusion, dreams, and the mystic realms. Deception (both that which is practiced externally and that which we choose internally) imagination, symbolism, prophecy and myths of all kinds bow to the Sea King’s rule. Neptune also oversees oil and gas, chemicals, steam and steam power. Deceptions, scandals, mental confusion are all hallmarks of Neptunian power.
Pisces-the last sign in the Zodiac-is the Sea King’s home port. It is a water sign and has long been viewed as the sign of karmic balance. Like its rule, Pisces is associated with dreams and nightmares, highlighting compassion and forgiveness on one hand and betrayal and hypocrisy on the other. It becomes clear that Neptune in this sign, above all others, will carry far more potency than at any other time.
The sinking of the Titanic certainly provides an allegory for the world situation today. A century ago, the ship was trumpeted as the symbol of human domination over the primal elements of the planet; how quickly the dream turned to nightmare has become the stuff of legend, myth and countless media reenactments. The Costa Concordia disaster, so close to the Neptunian move to Pisces, certainly mirrors the untimely end of its famous predecessor a century ago. There, as here, human delusion has led to the sea claiming what it sought.
So what else can we expect from the Sea King during this Titanic Centennial Year? There may well be some late spring storms bringing a nasty combination of moisture-frozen and otherwise-to the Eastern part of the country-probably in later part of March. The possibility of an earthquake/volcanic event mid April will shock the Western Hemisphere and add to the collective chaos started by the impact of the Mercury retrograde in on March 12th.
With Pluto-the Dark Lord-going in reverse April 10th, still in Capricorn, the natural onslaught of the Sea King’s wrath (see above) will be compounded and fueled by a financial market crisis which, in turn, could lead to the collapse (possibly violently) of one or more governments. Given that this retrograde occurs a scant two days before Titanic’s anniversary, it makes one want to peer into the mists in search of metaphorical icebergs-both literally and figuratively.
Neptune follows Pluto in reverse on June 4th. A major hurricane (or two) could remind the Gulf States of the power of the ruler of the waves. A possible oil shortage or environmental issue could further complicate an already unsettled situation. Between the Dark Lord and the Sea King, expect a major scandal that could transcend not only the upcoming election but the power dynamics both here and abroad mid-July.
I have previously discussed the impact of the Mercury retrograde on Election Day, November 6th. The Sea King will also make an impact as it turns direct on November 10th followed by a total Solar Eclipse on November 13th. Needless to say, the massed energies involved in these events will result in a major shift of the reality that we have come to know. As the year unfolds, the patterns of karma will make themselves known. For now, let us keep a watch through the fog of illusion in hopes of avoiding the impact of the “celestial iceberg” floating just off our bow.

Astrology as predicted is happening
July 4 – 9-11, USA’s Birthday Progression
1. New York City has 11 letters
2. Afghanistan has 11 letters.
3. Ramsin Yuseb (The terrorist who threatened to destroy the Twin Towers in 1993) has 11 letters.
4. George W Bush has 11 letters.
This could be a mere coincidence, but this gets more interesting:
1. New York is the 11th state.
2. The first plane crashing against the Twin Towers was flight number 11.
3. Flight 11 was carrying 92 passengers. 9 + 2 = 11
4. Flight 77 which also hit Twin Towers, was carrying 65 passengers. 6+5 = 11
5.. The tragedy was on September 11, or 9/11 as it is now known. 9 + 1 + 1 = 11
6. The date is equal to the US emergency services telephone number 911. 9 + 1 + 1 = 11.
Sheer coincidence..? Read on and make up your own mind:
1. The total number of victims inside all the hi-jacked planes was.254. 2 + 5 + 4 = 11.
2. September 11 is day number 254 of the calendar year. Again 2 + 5 + 4 = 11.
3. The Madrid bombing took place on 3/11/2004. 3 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 4 = 11.
4. The tragedy of Madrid happened 911 days after the Twin Towers incident.
Now this is where things get totally eerie:
The most recognized symbol for the US, after the Stars & Stripes, is the Eagle. The following verse is taken from the Quran, the Islamic holy book: “For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced: for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah and there was peace.”
That verse is number 9.11 of the Quran.
Now how do you feel? I’d say, that is quite a few ‘coincidences’ – wouldn’t you? Of course, if you live in one of these types of desert environments with nothing to do all day………just saying……..voices from beyond, that is for sure! I found this definitely note worthy with a touch of the paranormal thrown in.
Wonder what Nostradamus would have to say about this!

9/11 Belmont First Three Winners 9-1-1
On Sunday, a very eerie twist of events happened at Belmont Park, NY. This is the same track where Secretarit clinched the Triple Crown in 1973. This was one of the most spectacular sports events in horse racing history.
At this same track on Sunday, 9/11/11, the first race had very odd winning numbers for races 1, 2 and 3. Winning horses carrying these strange numbers were in order: race 1, horse #9 won, race 2, horse #1 won, and the third race, won by horse #1. 9-1-1. Doesn’t it make you wonder? Especially, since it was in Elmont, New York on this day? Maybe it is our spirit guides giving us a message that there is more to come. Maybe it is just a paranormal activity. Maybe it is both.
This happened just after the ceremony for 9/11 in New York where highly charged emotions were everywhere in that state. Plus the fact that it was on everyone’s mind; both the fear of another attack and also remembering those that lost their lives on that horrible day. One might call it A New York State of Mind.
Astrology charts also had some interesting things to say. As Lou wrote, “This is not an easy task when heart and mind compete for dominance as will be the nature of things in this near future” in his article a few days ago on 9/11.
Spencer’s comment was well put in an email to me. Here is what she had to say:
“What I get from this is that all of New York had 9 1 1 strongly on their minds and in their emotions. That attracted occurrences of 9 1 1. I’ll bet there are more instances of “coincidents” that didn’t catch the attention of the press. We have strong creative and manifesting abilities that begin with thoughts and are fueled by emotions which create a vibration that goes out from us. It isn’t so much what we think as the vibe that emanates from within us.”
I agree with Spencer, in that the emotional state of New Yorkers that day, 9/11, was definitely on the minds and in the hearts of all of us, and, in particular, New Yorkers. While some might pass the Belmont winners off as mere coincidence, what are the odds of that happening? I stand firm on the power of the mind and especially when a group is involved with similar thoughts. In this case, fear is a huge emotional state and a very powerful one at that. I tend to agree with Spencer, spirit guides and powerful messages from beyond.
This is one of those ‘coincidences’ that makes you wonder who’s really in charge.

With the technological and scientific advances of the late 20th and early 21st centuries, astrologers and astronomers alike are taking a fresh look at other celestial bodies that exist in our solar system and the potential impact that these objects have both in terms of science and their effect on human affairs. A number of modern astrologers have begun to integrate these asteroids, Centaurs,Trans-Neptunian Objects or planetoids into their charts and interpretations.
Centaurs are a class of minor planets that also have been noted to have characteristics of both asteroids and comets. Named after the mythological creatures known as Centaurs (which were a hybrid of man and horse), their orbits transit the paths of larger planets. Ironically and symbolically, one of the most prominent is Chiron. First discovered in November 1977, Chiron, whose orbital path carries it between Saturn and Uranus, may serve as a kind of cosmic bridge between time and space.
Chiron, in mythology, was a centaur who was known as the ‘wounded healer” who heals others but cannot heal himself. Ultimately, he sacrificed his immortality to give mankind the gift of fire by exchanging himself for Prometheus. Astrologically, Chiron refers to a wounding of trust leaving a wound that will never truly heal. In a natal chart, it can represent the “deepest wound”-representing an insecurity and guilt leading to over compensation of actions in an attempt to “heal”.
Though a newcomer to astrological interpretation, Chiron’s impact may be stronger than we could imagine. Given the approaching tenth anniversary of 9-11, I feel it is important to see what Chiron’s influence may bring.
It goes without saying that 9-11 represents the “deepest wound” that this country has suffered in its history. Even ten years after, the pain and fear of that day is still fresh in the common psyche of the nation which may never totally recede. To say that those events have left us all feeling insecure and trying to overcompensate for what we have lost would be an understatement. More than buildings fell that day as did trust and innocence collapsed as well.
Clearly, Chiron must be looked to see what energies it will bring to 9-11-11. To begin with, Chiron currently resides in Pisces. What this means is that we must work hard to remove the guilt we feel from the events of that day. More to the point, we should not be looking the world over to find others to “save” until we have fixed ourselves first.
Of particular significance is the fact that Chiron is in opposition to the Mercury the Messenger. With the residual effects of the recent Mercury Retrograde still creating difficulties, this placement points to additional communication snafus and misunderstandings. The proverbial “shooting oneself in the foot” certainly is likely when presenting ideas.
What this means to me is that 9-11-11 could mark a period of more misunderstanding on the world stage as to our intentions both political and financial. The shadow of the events of ten years ago may act to cause us to overact to false or misleading actions externally; playing the victim could well turn out to be a self-fulfilling prophecy. While the wound of that day will never fully heal, Chiron does provide support for the sharing of the lessons of healing on all levels with others which, ultimately, can illuminate a path to the future. The stars give their portents; how we choose to heed them is up to each one of us.

As then tenth anniversary of 9-11 approaches, I find myself pondering exactly what doors may be opened on that date, the impact that this will bring-both nationally and on the world stage, and what the outcome might be. With announcements that new “credible” threats exist, the growing instability through much of North Africa and the Middle East, and a growing divide at home, this date may be a harbinger for many dramatic events, both in the short and long term.
It seems both fitting and proper to turn to the Runic Oracle to seek counsel on this matter. Although the Oracle is most often used for personal advice, the scope is only limited by the question put to it. My new book, The RuneChest, discusses the Oracle’s history and how to interpret its advice.
The first step in any casting is to pose a question: In this case, the question I have set before the Oracle is: What do we need to know about 9-11-11? I will use the Three Rune Spread. Read right to left, the first rune deals with the here now (think the current state of the matter), the second rune addresses the challenge which must be faced in the matter, and the third rune speaks to the future course of the matter.
Let us begin:
First Rune Hagalaz – This rune symbolizes archetypal and primal energy that disrupts the existing order and causes abrupt change. The term “radical discontinuity” had been used to describe its effect. Hagalaz reflects that energy that seems to be swirling around us, toppling the old and disrupting the existing order. The widening political and philosophical divide in the country is certainly reflected here. Much of what we have taken for granted is being shaken-particularly concerning our place in the world and our financial security. The stage is being set for a karmic wake-up which could strip away the fabric of the world as we know it.
Second Rune Algiz Reversed -This rune in the reversed position speaks to the challenge that we are facing as growth and progress is going to be stymied. How we meet this challenge could well dictate the future of prosperity in this country. This rune cautions that we are vulnerable to a strong negative force which will shake our existing plans. Since the force itself cannot be stopped, how we deal with obstructions and are willing to wait to move ahead when the way is clear.
Third Rune Jera – This rune, the rune of the future path shows that we will reap the “fruits” of our efforts in the past. It also is a gentle reminder of the cycle of birth-death-rebirth. The path ahead again mirrors that which I have written about in other articles, namely that the old and outmoded orders have come to the end of their course and that which is to be harvested (in the literal sense) will be a transformation rather than a continuation.
Taken as a whole, the Oracle counsels that this anniversary will strip away much of the façade that we have been dealing with, particularly in the areas of financial and national security. The reality that we will see will be marked with a lot of negative energy in the near term, yet if we can be patient (not the strongest trait in our national make-up), we will be able to move ahead when the storm clears. Even at that, however, the transformation of these outmoded systems, organization, and even beliefs, will still be dramatic and, like the phoenix, we will be called on to rise from the ashes of the past.

Odin’s Rune and Psychic Readings
From the article I wrote in the beginning of August, Summer 2011 Predicitons, it is apparent that those predictions are playing out with accuracy. Astrology can pinpoint major events on a global level and the direction things will be heading. I used progressed charts starting with July 4th to the present to calculate the areas that will affect the US and other countries, as well.
September may bring Neptune’s wrath in the form of a hurricane that shows up almost unannounced. Abnormal amounts of rain will inundate the east coast with tornado warnings. Flooding, gas leaks bursting water pipes will be in the headline news. This Fall make sure your own home water systems are in good repair, as the negativity of Neptune in retrograde promises water and liquid issues, especially on the east coast.
There may well be a dramatic fall from power that will stun the world. Outmoded governments will continue to topple and many around the globe will come to realize that much of what they believed was mere illusion. The financial world is still shaky and even if a debt ceiling agreement is reached, the ramifications of the debate will echo loudly both here and abroad.
From my Debt Ceiling article (referring to Jupiter going retrograde on Aug.30th):
“This influence can be felt two or three weeks out-again right during the final days before the deadline. Jupiter’s emphasis on law and moral authority is going to be reflected by the continued deadlock of two groups, each of whom is saying “I am right”.”
And from my yearly predictions back in Dec. of 2010, referring to the third quarter of the year:
“Of even greater significance is the Uranus Retrograde that beings on July 9th and carries through to December 9th. This is the textbook aspect for the phrase “Expect the unexpected”. Outward behavior, particularly by public figures, may be “just for public consumption” and may mask hidden feelings and agendas. Trust in all institutions is going to take a real hit during this time, and many of us will be left wondering exactly where we fit in.”

Looks like Lou and Kit have done it again! Both of them predicted that here would be more seismic activity in April and May and they were once again right on the money!
Lou predicted on May 24 on the blog that we could expect lots more seismic activity including volcano eruptions and earthquakes and he was correct! Argentina and Chili evacuated people living near the Copahue volcano as it erupted May 28 on the border between Argentina and Chili.
Kit predicted on March 31 this year that we should expect more seismic activity in April and May and she was also correct. She actually named Chili as one of those places.
