Crossing over – it’s so beautiful. At first it was dark. Then I noticed a tiny white light at the end. At least I thought it was the end. I walked and then I ran toward the light. When I stepped from the tunnel I noticed several sensations. Although it was warm, I wasn’t sweating. Also, I was not out of breath from my hard run. My heart wasn’t beating fast either.
It was then I noticed a field of flowers in brilliant colors. There were intensely blue, blue birds. I saw giraffes, beautifully colored turkeys. There were cheetahs everywhere, looking at me looking at them. I felt no fear. What I did feel was absolute peace and love; even for the blades of grass which were perfectly cut.
Jim, 48, heart attack, (not his real name) from Iowa had this to say about his experience. “I saw nothing. It was very black with no light. I didn’t even know where I was. No sound, no scenery, no nothing. I was freezing and realized I had no clothes on. Not even underwear. Suddenly I looked up and saw doctors and nurses around my bed. Oh boy, was I relieved.”
Sarah, 75, stroke, from Manhattan had this to share. “I saw the most beautiful angels. Some were standing on the ground and some hovered in the air around and above me. All of a sudden I felt a pull on my body. I really didn’t want to leave.” This is another example of crossing over to the other side.
Tony, 14, overdose, from Texas shares his experience. “I felt my self leave my body. Then I was in a tunnel with a really bright light at the end. I floated to the end of the tunnel. I went right through that light. My Grandpa and Grandma were there. With big smiles on their faces, they hugged me and kissed me. Then they took each of my hands in theirs and starting walking. Next thing I new, I was in a bed being shocked.”
Could the above examples be important? I believe so. We all have our ideas of what heaven looks like. With our individual ideas of what heaven is, I believe we create our own heaven. That way, when we cross over we are greeted with our created heaven to ease our passing. This stops the shock of dying and helps greatly to ease our transition.
Once we make the complete transition of crossing over, then and only then are we allowed to “mingle” with other souls. True, we may meet others we knew on Mother Earth. They are there to guide us and release us to others that will show us how to further evolve our souls.

I ponder the question of what is death really and I ponder it often as I get asked to read for those still on earth for their loved ones that have left. Their pain is so engulfing, especially if a child is involved.
I was thinking this morning of how to explain life to these grieving souls left here. It was the early morning hours when the stars are fading off slowly as the day was beginning to dawn. And, as I saw the stars slip away into daylight, I realized that this is what death actually looks like to those crossing over to heaven.
I could clearly see that death is like a fading star in the early morning light. The light of the stars is clearly not dimmed by the light of day, but, rather slowly disappears from our view as it continues life out of our sight. The stars are bright as ever even though hidden from our view. As this happens, we become more conscious of the day before us and soon the stars go out of our mind and view as day breaks, like angels drifting in and out of our lives.
So, it is with those who have crossed over, that death is merely fading into life once again; life, death and life again, merely a transition to home from a short journey here. It is not for those who have passed that I have as much compassion as for those left behind grieving in love and loss. Giving them inspiration through messages soothes the soul.
Connecting to the invisible lives of those who are no longer visible to us is an honor and gift for those that are left behind here on earth. To give them messages and information to let the grieving ‘know’ in a spiritual sense that life here is very short, almost a detour, from the real life of the soul. Although the messages are usually short, they seem to be enough to console and comfort them in a very deep and dark hour.
People say they believe in life here after, but, when the loss of a loved one occurs, their is often panic and doubt no matter what their belief system is. This is not so for everyone, but, in my experience it happens to the many I have read for. Not knowing for sure where their loved ones are is an incredibly lonely experience for those left behind. God has bestowed a few of us that can connect these two souls through divine intervention to comfort them.
Whether we receive information through angels, voices from beyond or clairvoyant pictures, it is not how we get the information, but the information itself that is so important to loved ones left behind. It helps them believe through spiritual connections that life doesn’t end it death, it begins once again through the transition of death.
I hope in some small way I have helped those still living and given them some consolation to know that the soul itself doesn’t die and through spirit we are a vehicle or bridge from one world to another. It is not by accident that some people have these gifts. Although it remains a mystery as to how it occurs, the fact is it does; it helps us keep the faith and belief in life ever after.
