The occurrence of repeating numbers as a date has long been of interest to numerologists, esoteric practitioners and psychics, well as practical and theoretical mathematicians. This unique calendar situation is known as a palendri-cal phenomenon and occurs fourteen times a century. It is also known as a Palendromic Date – meaning that it can be read either backwards or forwards with the same meaning.
The most recent palendromic date was October 10th, 2010; written in the formula of mm/dd/yy it would be 10/10/10. However as the seasons turn, we approach another of these special days – November 11, 2011 or in the same month, day, year formula 11/11/11. Given the tumultuous year that we have already endured, it is both timely and important to examine what energies might be at play during this triple-digit encounter.
In numerology, the number “11” is considered the first of the master numbers. Master numbers are the numeric pairs 11, 22, 33. Practitioners of numerology note that these numbers possess a great impact and potential than single numbers. Additionally, each of these master numbers magnifies the effect of the number which would be the sum of the pair together, i.e., 11=1+1=2, 22=2+2=4, etc. So 11 also carries within it the influence of the number 2.
So what exactly is the essence of this dualist number and how might it impact us in November? To begin with, the number 11 is commonly viewed as the psychics’ number. Intuition and spirituality are magnified. Yet the shadow side of these elements is also present and can manifest as treachery and betrayal. It holds within it the balance of masculine and feminine energies as well as lightness and darkness. Significantly, it also directs our attention to synchronicities around us.
11/11/11 has the potential to mark a dramatic shift in our world view. The dualist nature of this number, repeated three times (three, itself, being a powerful number) clearly shows that we are, literally, standing between two extremes; one highly positive and the other disastrously negative. During times of dramatic change and disorder, 11 often appears in various forms; clearly a date having three “11s” could be the unfolding of just such a time.
We are going to find a new awareness to what is really going on in our world; financial and, in some instances, geopolitical scenarios. For many, this will cause panic and could lead to a great deal of emotional discomfort and possibly some unlikely physical confrontations between parties and even nations. 11 sometimes is called the spiritual messenger. How we choose to interpret the message could well determine whether the scales tip towards a renewal or self-destruction.
The last 11/11/11- November 11, 1911, marked the day of what has come to be called “ The Great Blue Norther”. This epic weather event in the Midwest marked a time when many major cities recorded record highs for a single day in the morning and record lows by nightfall. With the meteorological extremes we have witnessed this year, the impact of 11/11/11 should certainly be kept in mind.
“11” has also embodied within the human psyche the concept of urgency even as the fabric of what we know as reality seems to be coming part. Hence the reference to the “11th hour” as the last possible time for something to be completed. Speaking of completions, it should also be noted that the Mayan Calendar (which has received much attention as to its prophecies) ends on December 21, 2012 at 11:11 a.m. GMT.
11/11/11 carries within its energies, from a numerological standpoint, both great potential and great danger. It will, ultimately, be up to each person to decide how to interpret and utilize the information which may be revealed. These energies are neither inherently good, nor inherently bad; it is people who determine that path.

Well – May 21 came and went with nothing happening – big fat zero! Throughout history, fanatical groups have predicted (who knows how?) that the world was going to end on a certain date. There is certainly NO DATE in the bible anywhere about the exact date the end of the world will happen.
Predicting the end times has always been a topic that re-surfaces every few years. Just like Y2K came and went with nothing but just another day. There may be opinions on the end times, but there is no actual facts to back it up.
I feel that people seem to have a need for some horrid event and somehow rationalize how it will come about, get a following, and begin to spew out their opinions as if they are fact. Perhaps they have a need to be in the spot light or fame or money or all three.
What happens to these people who predict the end of the world when it doesn’t happen? No one ever hears from them again. Or, maybe they make up the reason that nothing happened and the group disbands when it just another day goes by. Or maybe they go back to their ‘calculations’ to figure out why it didn’t happen and predict another day when the world stops turning?
If you are going heed a fanatical opinion of the end of the world, why not check out the facts about what they are basing their opinions on? What do these followers do when May 22nd come as just another day? Do these fanatics just head back to their caves like a dog with their tail between their legs and egg on their face? Or come up with some garbage about why it didn’t happen!
Harold Camping is just one of these nut jobs with a pathetic bunch of groupees. His radio show, Family Radio Worldwide, was predicting the end on May 21st, 2011, and of course, it was a failed prediction.
Or, perhaps the doomsday theorist and Prison Minister, Marty Angelo, is one of your religious leaders. Ugh – my very last nerve. He makes no sense at all if you have only 2 brain cells firing. He does, however, have a ‘captive’ audience!
What these people have in common is either fame or the need to be adored and probably money as well. Any body who would give either of these people 2 cents deserves everything they get – nothing.
One thing you don’t hear much about from a reputable psychic, is the exact date the world stops turning!

I have previously written about the phenomena of the upcoming date of November 11, 2011 and the potential impact it may bring to our world. It is here that a quandary arises: What is the difference between 11 hours, 11 minutes and 11 seconds a.m. and 11 hours, 11 minutes and 11 seconds p.m. and, if a difference exists, which time should be used in calculating a chart? Although most of the aspects are unchanged, the house positions of the planets move as the celestial wheel rotates from day to night. Ultimately, it is my position that the a.m. chart is the one to consult since it is also closest to noon which is generally accepted as the default “birth time” when a specific birth time is not known.
The Moon, Mars, The Warrior, and the Pluto, Dark Lord, have significant roles to play in the cosmic dance on November 11th. Ideals and dreams are going to collide with actuality and reality. Governmental deadlock will reach a fever pitch as each side denies the other support for their world view. Financial markets will be impacted by this intransience and compromise will be all but impossible.
Personal relationships are also going to undergo a lot of strain as the desire for freedom and expression by one party on a superficial level will collide with the needs of the other party to dive more deeply into the most personal levels of intimacy. If you are in a relationship in flux, this may be a great time to take a step back and try to remind each other why you first got together. Forcing the issue will only cause havoc for all involved.
Uranus, the Sky Lord, is still reminding us the “the revolution will not be televised – it will be live” (the words of Gil Scott Heron). Unrest as part of the Arab Spring will continue to provide a backdrop for instability that begins to reach other parts of the globe, notably in the Mediterranean region. Even here, tempers will shorten as opposing views push their respective agendas.
The days immediately preceding and following 11-11-11 help to magnify the potency of that date. Daylight savings ends November 6th, truly a marking of time marching backwards. Neptune goes direct (finally!!) on November 9th which will impact the oceans and, of course the weather. The Neptune’s directional shift could bring about a surprise winter storm in an unlikely location.
The potential impact of 11-11-11 is going to be given an almost immediate jolt scarcely two weeks later. The Mercury the Messenger begins his last backward march on November 23-24th coinciding with both a partial Solar Eclipse and the New Moon on the 24th and 25th. Throw in the Thanksgiving Holiday – Nov. 24th and that proverbial trip to Grandma’s house could take on a whole new meaning.
It should also be kept in mind that Pluto still resides in Capricorn and the interrelations between the Pluto, Mars, and Uranus on the 11th will add dynamic tensions to the upheavals here and abroad. The old order is shaking and desperate behavior by leaders and those in power will becomes all too apparent. Transformation through destruction of the outmoded is on the horizon.
November 11th is one of those seminal days that will mark shifts across a broad spectrum. It will come down to each individual how the storm is to be weathered; both in a literal and actual sense. It may well be that we look back on that day and say: ‘This was the start’.
