Yesterday, I wrote that I felt strongly about earthquakes heating up in intensity and sure enough, Alaska got hit with a 6.8 this morning just as I predicted. It happened just off the coast of the Aleutian Island chain, off-shore and roughly 400 miles west of the capital city of Anchorage.

A volcano has erupted on a southern island off the tip of Japan Friday morning. I wrote yesterday that there was a good possibility that increased seismic activity in Japan could increase today and sure enough, it did.  It happened on the island of Kagoshima at approximately 10am local time in Japan.

Chile’s Calbuco volcano erupted Thursday for the third time over the last several days. It sent people evacuating out of their homes south of the eruption as ash spread far and wide covering some places thick with ash. The evacuations took place in about a 12 mile radius.
