Today is a lunar eclipse in the sign of Sagittarius and it could pose a powerful punch. Starting today and for several weeks, you could experience some endings in your life. Endings are not all that bad when you really stop to think about it.  This could mean you stop an annoying habit that has been bothering you.  It could also mean the end of a job you really don’t like anyway or a relationship that needs to go because you have outgrown it.  You may even notice six months from now that your thinking has changed on something important to you.  Just think of this time period as an opportunity to begin again, turning over a new leaf.

Lunar eclipses are always full moons, so something at hand will come to a head.  This day will be the catalyst for some interesting changes that you will be making depending on where it lands in your chart. It will set the stage for some profound and interesting endings and this will probably be final; you won’t be visiting these circumstances again, of course, unless you refuse to let go.  Letting go is the theme here, so, just be open to being without whatever it is you really don’t need any more.  You’ll have to wait for the Solar Eclipse on July 1st, 2011 for beginnings.

Eclipses, whether solar or lunar, almost force you to change your circumstances and clear out things you really have grown past and no longer serve their purpose.   This will eventually, open the door for new opportunities that will work more in your favor. It will move you to the next stair in your growth and development and open your eyes and spirit in ways you had not imagined.  This will be a process, so whether things start happening today or over a period of time, they will happen.

This particular eclipse may bring on some edginess, anxiety, confusion or possibly all three.  Once you begin to move past this period, and as things calm down, you will feel ultimately more confident and at peace on your continued journey.  You may also feel some sadness or emotional upsets, but, they too will pass as the days and weeks progress.

Now is not the time to start anything new if you can avoid it.  Just try and go with the flow and let things unfold.  You will have more stability as time moves forward past this eclipse.  If something huge like a relationship or job ends, just know, that in the big scheme of things, this is ultimately for your own good as the Universe propels you forward into the next step in your life.  Consider this the beginning of a brand new chapter in your life which will soon arrive, almost like magic.  Keep your chin up and your nose to the grindstone and you will be just fine.  Trust in the power of what the Universe has in store for you.
