Long distance relationships are on the rise and they don’t seem to be slowing down. The internet chat/dating sites have opened the world up to us right on our computers.
While most people do not consider long-distance relationships, for all those that don’t work out long-term – there are those that do. However, there are some basic rules to follow if you are both really interested in working it out over the distance you have between you.
1. Keep in touch – that is a must
2. Spend time on the phone as well as chatting and email
3. Be available at regular times to communicate – this builds trust in each other
4. Do not fight using texts – it is much better to pick up the phone and work it out with live voices.
5. Spend some in-person time when you both can
6. Sent gifts – they are powerful messages
These are just a few of the things I hear over and over again when doing readings. Regular and consistent communication is a real effort sometimes, but, you need to be available even though you make it shorter than usual.
There does need to be some ground rules, especially when you are upset in the long distance relationship. Discuss this long before it happens, what you will and will not do while you are upset. The other person needs to know what to expect when you are angry or upset.
1. Do you just ignore the other person? If so, for how long? Everyone knows their own style when it comes to being upset.
2. Do you change your communication? i.e., if you are used to chatting, do you revert to emailing instead?
3. How long do you stay upset?
The solution lies directly in communicating effectively. Punishing the other person by ignoring them could prove fatal to your relationship. Decide how you will both handle being upset with each other and the things you will and will not do. Since the other person is not around you, they need to know you are still ‘there’ for them. Communicating is the only true answer here.

It really is not hard to learn to read the Tarot. You just must realize this is not an overnight process. A little study everyday will help tremendously. It’s kind of like learning how to tie your shoes or learning how to drive.
The more you practice, the better you will get at it. I suggest getting a standard deck like the Rider-Waite Tarot deck to begin with. As you get more proficient, then you can wander out into the hundreds of Tarot decks and find one you like. Until then, it is best to make it simple and start with an easy to read deck.
There is more than one book out on the subject. The ‘Idiot’s Guide To Tarot’ is one of the better ones. You can find it used at Amazon for about $5.00. I do recommend buying a new Tarot deck. You don’t want one that is old and hard to shuffle. You also want a new deck because a used one has other people’s energy in them and will not work for you like a new one will.
I suggest taking 20 minutes per day starting with a basic layout like the Celtic Cross – the most common and widely practiced spread. To memorize the meaning of each position in the spread, you might start with a piece of paper in each position and the meaning written down on the paper. With practice, you will soon haven the 10 positions memorized.
Use your guide book like the one I recommended above each day. We can only absorb so much information at once, so I suggest 20-30 minutes each day until the spread and cards start to ‘gel’ in your memory. This is a step-by-step process and a little bit of practice each day will take you a long way into learning how to read the cards! You will also begin to notice that your psychic reading ability will approve over time.

What is Happening in the Stars for the Week of April 24-30, 2011?
Did you know that Easter is always the first Sunday after the first Full Moon after the March Equinox? April 24, 2011 is just such a day! Looking at the week ahead, we are still dealing with a retrograde Saturn calling us to make peace with the past. At a time when a powerful cluster of five planets in Aries tries to push everyone’s buttons. Be kind, even if you don’t feel like it.
Aries This is a power week for you when you can be your most original and courageous. Don’t be afraid to share strong feelings: easy or difficult. The truth is your most powerful weapon. If you feel angry, say so. Those born near April 3 must be patient: your energy is very low.
Taurus Things begin to settle down as the Sun transits Taurus. This is a powerful and expansive time. Many of you will be able to push forward a pet dream or project. Be patient with things that seem to block your progress: the promise of real change is on the way!
Gemini In a time when you would prefer to talk about something, the people and events in your life may be forcing you to “just do it”. This is an important time of preparation for the future. Do what you can to mend hurt feelings in the family or in your own heart.
Cancer Many will feel stresses that seem pressing in on every side. The trick is to avoid confrontations: especially with people in positions of authority. Fights that start right now are likely to be much more trouble than they are worth. This will begin to settle down in about two weeks: hang in there!
Leo You are in your element! This is a fantastic time to do things you enjoy and find support for any interest or passion. The energy brings a wealth of happy energy that is best used having fun. Relax, accept physical challenges, and share things you most enjoy. Count your blessings! Expect good times.
Virgo You may have the haunting feeling you are supposed to be doing something, but somehow things are not allowing you to follow your dreams. Put as much energy as possible into cleaning, sorting and simplifying your life. This will put you in the best position when things begin to flow in your favor.
Libra This is a powerful time for lessons about how best to relate to others. Your ability to say the right thing in a tense relationship supports personal and career interests. Focus on your responsibilities and commitments to others. Don’t avoid unfinished business in any area. Hidden resentments will surface if you deny them.
Scorpio Do all you can to make your life more simple. Other people and close relationships are going to need more time and attention soon. Now is the week to work hard to lay a better foundation for the future. Even if you feel like rushing ahead, now is not the time to start anything new.
Sagittarius This is a truly lucky time. You may be juggling several projects or interests at one time. You will now be able to find support for all those hopes, plans and dreams that may have taken a back seat to other things. Be selfish. If you follow your heart, you will not go wrong.
Capricorn It may seem as if the universe is poking and prodding you to move in a new direction. Things irritating, frightening, or otherwise challenging are where you should pay more attention. You are going through a process that will help you understand yourself more clearly. Being personally honest and disciplined supports your ambitions.
Aquarius Expect a very busy week! You may be enjoying more happy meetings and coincidental connections with people who like you. It will be easier to work with others. Be simple and direct: remember you have nothing to prove. Accept any opportunity to take the lead in a group or with the family.
Pisces You may be sensing the fear or uncertainty that grips many people right now. You may also simply be focused on watching your favorite TV program and having a good time. It is important not to allow negative forces or feelings to dominate your thoughts. Anything exciting that gets your blood pumping is recommended.
The Empress represents the feminine side of ourselves.
It is a symbol of spring energy, fertility, motherhood, creation and the nurturing within. Standard Tarot decks show the planet Venus which represents Taurus and Libra, both feminine sun signs.
When this card shows up in a reading, you can expect happy times ahead. It also tells us that joyful times are coming in the home, marriage and family relationships. It can mean a marriage or new home is on the horizon which will bring happiness. Bountiful crops and gardens will be fruitful. More abundance is on the way!

Well, here we are again with major destruction from Oklahoma to North Carolina when tornadoes hit with fierce vengeance leveling homes, businesses and farms on April 17th as the full super moon arrived again. It has killed at least 44 people to date and is one of the worst weather storms that have plagued the area in several years.
This could well be the precursor to a very bad tornado and drought season for the USA and in particular Texas. It is not looking good so far and I feel this tornado season will be far worse than most. Damage to crops is one of my biggest fears because we are already on the brink with rising food prices which I have also talked about in previous articles.
On March 7th, I predicted severe weather patterns, increased seismic activity and tsunami warnings. Japan was struck on March 11th with a most horrific 9.0 earth quake and tsunami whose nuclear disaster on the planet has yet to be known. The Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear plant is still leaking toxic waste and experts say it could last many months to come. No one seems to know when the damage will cease from the nuclear plant.
Food prices will continue to rise here in the US and elsewhere in the world. Rising oil prices will continue to reflect what we pay at the gas pump and will affect what we pay for literally everything. Our paychecks will dwindle because of what we have to pay in rising prices – wages will not be going up any time soon.
There are going to be very ugly battles as our Congress wrestles with each other during this time period. There will be damaging press coverage which will not help. This is not going away anytime soon and will escalate during the Fall months.
Extreme Super Moon Shaking the Shape of Things to Come
7.6 Earthquake Strikes New Zealand
As I have noted previously, tonight”s full moon marks the the culmination of the Moon’s closest passage with our blue planet. Beginning in February, this lunar close encounter, known as the Super Moon, has exerted its influence on matters involving the planet, human events, emotions, the weather and our own emotions. While conventional science may wish to discount the impact of this astronomical/astrolgoical event, the evidence streches the concept of “mere coincidence” to the breaking point and beyond.
The violent weather throughout the southern United States on the eve of the full moon , including an unprecedented 90 reported tornado sightings in North Carolina, is just the latest example of the impact that the moon’s passage can and does have’ something that even conventional science has acknowledged through studies of tidal shifts and wind. Coupled with the ongoing crisis in Japan, the continuing unrest in North Africa, the Ivory Coast, and now Nigeria, and our own emotionally charged debate over our economic and budget crisis, the coming of this full moon-the third of three full Super Moons-serves notice that the curtain on this act of the human drama is just now rising.
Astrologers, like those here at Psychic Cosmos, have been watching the unfolding of this year fully aware of the potential impact that could be facing everyone. In addition to the lunar energies already in play, there is the ongoing Mercury Retrograde which has definitely scrambled comprehension of the meanings of many important messages, disrupted others (have you noticed how your internet and or cell phone seems to be acting a bit “odd” in the last two weeks or so?) and added an air of uncertainty over even day to day decisions. In addition to the Mercury Retro and Super Moon effects, both Mars and Saturn are going to contribute to the instability which seems to be increasing daily.
Today, Mars opposed Saturn-so the agressiveness and impulsiveness of the red planet now conflicts the Great Leveler-as Saturn is known. This could well result in additional conflicts in the world arena that could further undermine the existing regimes without any clear replacement. Tomorrow, Mercury and Mars conjoin. The impact of this aspect cannot be overstated; chaotic communications leading to impulsive actions that could result in an unexpected upheaval. Not everything is as it seems and with our emotions tossed on the tides of Luna, doors that should not be opened could lead to results that are far more devastating than first thought. Politics and scandal may be in the offing in the next fortnight.
Lastly, the Dark Lord-Pluto-will continue to exert the energies of transformation through destruction. A violent storm within the next two weeks is not out of the question and atomic issues-perhaps well beyond the Land of the Rising Sun-may make us all pause and reassess what truly matters.
The curtain rises and the players take the stage-knowing that these celestial energies are in play can help us take stock of events that unfold to understand our place in them. Illuminated by the light of a Super Moon, we can use this knowledge choose to flow with the tides rather than be swept away by them.

This is the final week to revise and review past decisions. If you have been feeling frustrated, expect things to begin to shift in a more positive direction by the end of the week. Monday’s Full Moon encourages diplomatic solutions. Things become more slow and stable with the Sun’s entry into Taurus onThursday.
Aries There is no hiding from the choices made in the past. Your best course is make past experiences building blocks for a better future. Opportunities may drop in your lap: but you must take action to reap the benefit. The March-born are under a lucky star for sudden breakthroughs in love.
Taurus This is a powerful week to get organized. Handle unfinished business and be better prepared for a powerful upcoming shift in energy that will support your interests. You have a particular calling to take action to protect or improve the natural world. Do not hesitate to set things in motion.
Gemini This can be one of those times when you are having multiple conversations, doing several things at once, and driving more methodical people crazy. Physical challenges, especially those you can share with friends, will help ease any tendency to worry or obsess. Delay starting anything new for at least one week.
Cancer Some of the discomfort or frustration you have been feeling will begin to ease. Do what you can to simplify your schedule. This is no time to blame others for what is not working in your life. Spend more time centering yourself and finding true spiritual peace within your own heart.
Leo Things continue to support your interests and help you feel good about yourself. What you believe in or feel most passionate about must take center stage in your plans. If you are not having a good time, make some changes. Pleasing yourself first is not selfish. Happiness makes you most effective.
Virgo You are never afraid of hard work. Pitch in right now to help others. Family or work-related concerns need your gift for cleaning up and sorting out. Simply do your best. Be patient with other people’s reactions. Often the real issue is disguised behind fear or anger. Calm good sense is necessary.
Libra The Full Moon in your sign on Tuesday will bring many things to a point of decision. If faced with a choice, do not be afraid to leave the past behind. You have every chance to make a fresh start if you surrender your expectations and accept what comes your way.
Scorpio Your ability to do a job thoroughly and well will be needed. There can be intense challenges that lead to simmering resentment or even open conflict. Do not compromise your personal integrity. Speak your mind. The October-born may be feeling confused. Trust your intuition. You can find power in spiritual truths.
Sagittarius Look around you. What needs to be finished? Be patient with what seems frustrating. The more time you spend tying up loose ends now, the better prepared you will be when the energy begins to open up on Friday. This remains a powerful period for forming helpful alliances.
Capricorn Do not allow yourself to fall into thinking you are failing or lack what you need to take action on ambitious plans. Do all you can to clean out clutter, make useful contacts, and if possible face down your personal dragons. Any problem you face now will help set you up for future success.
Aquarius Your influence on others is strong. If you have been wanting to spend more time with a good friend, you may have to make the first, and second move. People are busy and their priorities can become confused. You have a knack for pointing out what is most important.
Pisces The energy this week is scattered. There is some danger of allowing the darker sides of life to get you down. It’s better to mix with positive people and make time to enjoy simple pleasures. There can be major complications if you lie to someone whose trust you value.

I am a Death Whisperer. I have been doing this for many years now. I don’t advertise. I work by word of mouth. I charge no fee, but will accept donations. What, exactly, is it that I do? I help those afraid of dying when crossing over. I also assist those not afraid of Death.
I get a phone call or an email requesting my presence. Let me share an example or so with you.
It is ten a.m. when I receive a phone call. I write the pertinent information and assure the caller I will be there within the hour. I dress, and remove my yellow aventurine pendulum from my sterling silver neck chain.
Let me mention that some of the important properties of yellow aventurine, which I value for my clients, are that this crystal relieves grief and anxiety. It also brings joy, and emotional balance. I sit at my special work place and begin asking questions concerning my next client.
This technique has allowed me to avoid causing more emotional harm to the family of my client, in that I no longer have to ask them questions about their loved one who is preparing to cross over.
Relax a few moments while holding my citrine pendulum. Citrine absorbs negative energies and converts them to positive energies: I love citrine as it never, ever has to be cleared or cleaned.
As I enter the hospital room, the family tries to tell me about the bed-ridden patient who will shortly be crossing over. My client is awake and responsive. I smile at him. He returns the smile.
I gently tell the family they don’t have to explain a thing, as I have already become aware of what I need to know.
They ask how I could know anything without being briefed. I explained to them that I was an Intuitive. I didn’t use the word “clairvoyant,” as this can be a turn-off to quite a lot of people. I told them I was born with the ability to know the past, intuit the present, and see the future including crossing over. Then I excused my self so I could speak with my client.
They inquired if they could stay and observe my work. I told them I preferred to work alone with the patient; if they wanted to stay, I had only one decree. They were to remain completely silent until I spoke directly to one of them.
I’ve developed a strong bond with my clients throughout the years. Unfortunately, they all crossed over—if not immediately, then within a few hours or days. They still visit occasionally.
I’ll be seeing you.

From what I see so far during the start of this tornado season, this is just the beginning of the worst disasters yet in the US. Severe weather patterns will continue on through the summer with flooding, tons of rain on the east coast and major droughts. The southern states will get hit very hard with heat. Some areas will get completely flattened due to the tornado activity.
I also see many states with wild fires this summer, especially in Texas and Arizona. There will be more of them and they will burn longer than normal. Drought will continue in Texas as the season continues. Just when they think they have the fires under control, more will occur. This is not a good year for Texas in the weather department especially with the lack of rain.
More hurricanes will be on record this year and bring with them torrential rains. They will continue to devastate towns all across the eastern part of the US states. Flooding is going to be much more than normal with huge rain storms yet to come.
Texas is going to really get hit with wild fires this year which will be very costly to those who will lose their homes. I expect to see severe weather patterns there getting worse over the next few months.
Over these next few of months, I see North Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama having major flooding problems with an unusual amount of rain yet to come. It will be one of the worst summer for storms and record. North Carolina will also get dangerous tornadoes with wild swings in the weather. There will be major flooding in the New England states and New York is one of those states.
Flooding and tornados will create disaster in several states. This will be an unusually unpredictable summer season for New York State and New Jersey. The damage will be from flooding, indirectly from tropical storms and hurricanes. On the North Eastern Coast nmost people will not heed the evacuation warnings.
