Relationships can be affected both at home and work. Tempers can flare because of misunderstandings causing confusion for everyone involved. Setbacks and break-ups are common during this time. If a relationship has not been going well, a Mercury Retrograde sets the stage for endings. If the relationship is not ended and should have during this time, this situation will be revisited probably during the next Mercury Retrograde.
This is not the time to sign any kind of contract, start a new job or a romance. If you do during this time, you may find it difficult to move forward as there may be many snags and snarls along the way.
The Positive Side of Mercury Retrograde
This is a time to reflect, look back on the past and decide how much house cleaning you need to do. It is also best to use this period to get rid of anything and everything no longer of use to you. This is a pause which gives us the time to slow down and really think about things that have value in our lives. You might find yourself thinking of the ‘good old days’ and how wonderful they were. People that we have not seen or heard from can suddenly enter our thoughts or we may hear from them on the phone or email.
Look at Mercury Retrograde like a vacation or break from everyday life. This is not the time to push forward but more a time for reflection and emotional healing before we take off on the next chapter. If you take it for what it is, a speed bump, then things will work out for the best in the long run.
