Taurus is the second sign in the Zodiac.  They are very down to earth, practical and stable.  They do not like change and are quite resistant to it, especially if it is your idea.  The Taurus will listen to you, but do not mistake it for agreeing with you; they are good listeners.  But don't expect them to rush right out and buy that new car or sell the house.  It will take nothing less than dynamite to get them to actually do anything at your pace, as they are very resistant to change of any kind, especially if you push on them.  They like home life, good food (and lots of it), great music and you can find them in any profession because they like to work; they're just not the quickest sign in the Zodiac.  Taurus, an earth sign, can be found in anything from real estate to farming, ranching or the nursery business.  They are usually very drawn to the out doors and often to their garden.  The person born under the sign of Taurus can often be called a home body because they don't usually like to leave it very often.  They are content just being at home and you will not change their mind.  Stubborn and more stubborn are the only words to try and define them much like the rock of Gibraltar; steady and un-movable.  They have a wonderful sense of humor, love music, often love to dance and are known for their musical ability.

They are conservative with money and usually have a secret stash or two.  They'll always take care to make sure you have a few dollars in your pocket, but, they will not turn over their bank account to you.  Just when you thought there wasn't any money for that special purchase, they'll seem to pull it out of thin air; one of their stashes.  They don't horde money; they just make sure they always have something in case of emergencies.

The person born under the sign of Taurus is self-contained and usually doesn't spread their own business around for gossip.  They solve their own problems and will help you out with yours.  They tend to be a person you can lean on because they can be very good listeners and will help where they can.  Just don't mistake their listening for agreement with you.  Self-confidence is one of their virtues and they get along well with others.

They are very tolerant of other's behavior which is a good thing.  However, if they tend to stay in relationships long after they should have left, it is because they don't like change.  That is the down side of being tolerant and stubborn at the same time.  They will stay in a bad relationship too long and sometimes to dangerous levels.  The upside is that if you are married to one, they probably won't be leaving anytime soon.  Since they don't really like to leave home, they probably won't wander off too far in search of another mate; they usually like the one they have, including their faults.

The Taurus tends to see the good side of everyone because of their high tolerance for others.  They often chuckle at other's mistakes, not to make fun of them, but they just get a kick out of human behavior.  It just seems to tickle them.  They are fairly optimistic, enjoy great food and fine music.  The Taurus doesn't need to flaunt money or things, but the things they do have will be taken care of.  Just don't expect them to fix that leaky faucet right away, because it won't happen.  They are very handy to have around the house because they like to fix things but don't expect them to have an anxiety attack if they don't get to it right away.  A Taurus just moves a bit slower than the rest of the population; they are deliberate and don't have much to rush around about.  Life's problems don't affect them as much as some other signs.  It's not that they don't care; they just know that they will solve it in their own time.
